Friday, First Baptist Church (Hart-Wyatt). she lived most of her life in Oklahoma City and several years of childhood in Mexico. Xochitl attended Central High School and Oklahoma City University. She married Frank Bruno on June 6, 1948 at St. Luke's Methodist Church.
She was the Matriarch and co-founder of Bruno's Home Furnishings (since 1951). She lived a life of following our Lord and Savior and touched thousands of others hearts with her loving faith and devotion. She also volunteered at the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary. She and husband Frank taught both Sunday School and led Methodist Youth Fellowship at St. Luke's for over 35 years.
Xochitl is survived by her faithful, loving husband, Frank Bruno; three children: Tony and wife Martha, Mark and wife Lisa, Gina and husband Allen; 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Albert F. (Bud) Orrell and wife Clauda, James O. Orrell and wife Kay, Alberto Fuentes and wife Alma, Alvaro Fuentes and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Luke's Youth or St.

For the last 15 years she lived at Candle Lake Senior Center where she had many friends who loved her as much as she loved them.
Her hobbies were playing Bingo working on ceramics. DA VIES George H. Davies, 91, died Tuesday, February 15, 2005. He was born March 29, 1913 to Thomas J. BISHOP John Wilson Bishop, 79, went to be with the Lord 2-15-2005. He was born June 30, 1925 to Henry and Lola Bishop in I Lincoln homa City.
She married Bryce Alston in 1971 and lived in Georgia, Maryland, and Texas. Following a divorce in 1982, she returned to Oklahoma City to be near her family. She worked for many years as an executive secretary and a legal secretary, being most recently employed at the law offices of Hiltgen Brewer. She leaves behind a brother, Arden Dorney and his wife Georganna of Weafherford, OK; a sister, Judy Barclay and her husband Boyd of Edmond, OK, and the following nieces and nephews: Elizabeth and Mark McLean and family; Emily Barclay; Rob and Kerri Barclay and family; Patrick and Angie Dorney and family; and many wonderful friends. Barbara was a member of Crossings Community Church.
Over the past 20 years, she has done volunteer work for different organizations in the area of animal welfare. Because of Barbara's love for animals, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to her favorite charity. "Free to Live Animal Sanctuary" at P.O. Thomas Charles Waters, 20, and Stephanie Marie Bingham, 21. Rafael Paramo Lopez, 32, and Betty Edith Reed, 26. from Safeway Grocery Warehouse after 27 years. He was a member of the VFW in Edmond, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters and 1st wife Norma Day Bishop.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Leota Bishop; sister, Juanita Lowe of Boise, Idaho; 3 daughters, Cheryle Hollis and Sue Seckel and Nita June Brewer; 2 sons, Gary John Bishop and wife Gayle and Daryl Lynn Bishop and wife Tina 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed by all. The family wishes to extend a personal thanks to Jim Hall, Kafhy Wray and Frontier Hospice for their support and care. Services are 1:00 p.m. Friday 2-18-2005 at Witcher Baptist Church with interment at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, Okla.
